Are you looking for a quiet island where you can enjoy a day on the beach? This full day trip to Rosario Islands will allow to relax in a serene location in the middle of the Caribbean sea, where you will be surrounded by crystal clear waters and soft, white sand.
Rosario Islands National Park, known for its amazing coral reefs, has a large variety of places to visit such as resorts, public and private beaches, some which are more crowded than others. We have chosen Gente de Mar one of the best beach spots on Isla Grande. It is a lovely place surrounded by turquoise waters, coral reefs and white sandy beaches where you can enjoy an unforgettable experience of relaxation and fun. That's what we came for!
This tour to Rosario Islands leaves from the Bodeguita dock. We will take a 50 minute trip by speed boat to Gente de Mar in Isla Grande, where the staff from the island will be waiting for you with a welcome drink before giving you a brief explanation about lunch time and the optional activities you can do such as kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, snorkeling, or diving through the coral reefs. If you are not in the mood for water sports, you can just swim in the warm, crystal clear water or simply relax on the beaches of this little piece of paradise.
Then journey back to the pier, arriving backing at Cartagena at 4:00 PM Approx.

Use of the facilities, volleyball court, ping pong and pool tables.
Return transportation from the dock to your accommodation.
Dock fee ($6 USD or COP$18.500)

Depart from the dock from 9am
Return to the dock: 4pm
Children up to 3 years old only pay the Dock fee
The departure time, authorized by the port captain is 9am, with the boat leaving the island to return to Cartagena between 2:30pm and 3pm, depending on the sea conditions the itinerary may change.
Depending on the sea conditions, the captain may decide to return to Cartagena earlier than scheduled for safety reasons
You can leave the resort to look for other beaches around the island, just be careful to return on time for the departure back to Cartagena.

Travelers are required to bring and wear masks at the pier and during the boat trip
