The Mangroves of La Boquilla is where we will explore in the early morning or evening, when the native and migratory birds are the most active. A cold coconut water will keep us energized to begin this experience of total immersion in nature, accompanied by a local guide who knows the ecosystem, and who, with all his experience, will teach us about a variety of birds that lurk along our route, and the importance of swamps in maintaining a healthy balance of life within the seas of the world.

This eco-tourism experience in Cartagena continue through la Cienaga de La Virgen and Pescador island where we will find more and more species of migratory and native birds, making this place the perfect spot for birdwatching.

Join us on this fascinating tour through the Mangrove forest, and see the tree roots that extend to the bottom on the sea, whose branches are the favourite home to different Herons, Ruddy Turnstone, flamingos, Brown Pelican ando more than 217 species observed according to eBird.
