Rosario Islands day trip - Rosario de Mar
Are you looking for a quiet island where you can enjoy a day on the beach? This full day trip to Rosario Islands will allow to relax in a serene location in the middle of the Caribbean sea, where you will be surrounded by crystal clear waters and soft, white sand.
Rosario Islands National Park, known for its amazing coral reefs, has a large variety of places to visit such as resorts, public and private beaches, some which are more crowded than others. We have chosen Rosario de Mar formerly known as Gente de Mar one of the best beach spots on Isla Grande. It is a lovely place surrounded by turquoise waters, coral reefs and white sandy beaches where you can enjoy an unforgettable experience of relaxation and fun. That's what we came for!
This tour to Rosario Islands leaves from the Bodeguita dock. We will take a 50 minute trip by speed boat to Rosario de Mar in Isla Grande, where the staff from the island will be waiting for you with a welcome drink. If you are not in the mood for water sports, you can just swim in the warm, crystal clear water or simply relax on the beaches of this little piece of paradise.
Then journey back to the pier from the island at 3pm arriving backing at Cartagena at 4:00 PM Approx.

Departure 8:20am but you muist be at the port 30 minutes prior the departure time

Depending on the sea conditions, the captain may decide to return to Cartagena earlier than scheduled for safety reasons mostly during the windy season (December to April)
Not suitable for pregnant women or people with back problems.
The departure time, authorized by the port captain is 9am, with the boat leaving the island to return to Cartagena between 2:30pm and 3pm, depending on the sea conditions the itinerary may change.
